About this experience

Step into SOULINA’s cozy art space in Hanoi Old Quarter and discover the beauty of Vietnamese lacquer. In just one hour, you’ll learn the basics of lacquer aesthetics and create your own small artwork—no prior experience needed.
This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly session designed for travelers, expats, students, couples, and small groups who want a meaningful cultural souvenir (made by you, not bought).

What you’ll do (Itinerary – 60 minutes)

0–10 min | Welcome & intro

• Quick story of Vietnamese lacquer art and how it became iconic in Vietnam

• Choose your design inspiration (simple patterns, nature, Hanoi motifs)

10–50 min | Create your piece

• Guided painting on a pre-prepared surface (easy, safe, beginner-friendly)

• Learn simple layering and finishing techniques

• Optional: add small decorative details depending on the selected format

50–60 min | Finish & photo moment

• Final touches + packing guidance

• Photos/videos of your artwork (with your permission)
